I am a Army Wife and Mom of two.As a Army family our life continues to change. From Oregon to Germany to GA, and onto New York and back to GA.We have realized how much we love the great outdoors and plan to take advantage of it. We are on our way to our next "adventure". Matt will be attending ILE at Fort Leavenworth, KS in August 2012. We have decided to live in our 33 foot toy hauler trailer for 4 months. Stay tuned to the adventures, ups and downs, and "back to the basics" of our family life.

Day 288
Check out the updated ticker above. While the date did not change too much, 3 weeks is huge. The date is still subject to change considerably but for now I am going to start thinking about the possibility of a great Christmas present!!!
I read this AFTER writing my comment about wondering if he'd be home before Christmas. I remember back when Seth was deployed to Iraq the first time, back in 2006, they said they might be home for Christmas and then they were extended until February, not very fun....of course this was apart of the surge, which I am sure is nothing you'll have to deal with this year, no better time to get your man back than at Christmas time!
