Matt will be attending ILE at Fort Leavenworth, KS in August 2012. We have decided to live in our 33 foot toy hauler trailer for 4 months. Bike Helmets
The kids have had so much fun playing outside in front of our apartment. Emma cruises very quickly up and down the sidewalk on her bike and Logan is slowly starting to get the hang of his. For the last week he has really wanted a helmet. He would wear the neighbor boys and Emma's when he had a chance. So, I picked him out a Spiderman helmet that he fell in love with. Logan has a little 12 inch Go Diego Go Bike that he can just barely reach the ground with. So he has him helmet and his bike and he scoots around after Emma. I will try to get a video of this soon.

A fun with with the Horrigan boys
We had a fun filled weekend with the Horrigan boys. We started the weekend here playing outside and ended the 1st night with a movie and popcorn. On Saturday all 4 kids started the morning around 6:45 AM!! They enjoyed waffles and strawberries and then we headed out to the zoo. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful. The kids enjoyed a picnic lunch and a little time at the park before we went for ice cream. After playing outside all day the kids were fast asleep by 7 that night. Again the next Morning, all kids were up by 6:45 AM and ready to go outside. We had a great but exhausting weekend!!

Absent Blogger
Alright, I am not so good at updating this. I am trying to remember to take more pictures but I usually am caught up in the moment of fun or work and forget. In my defense we have been super busy.
We have exactly 30 days left here at Fort Drum. Our movers will arrive in about 3 weeks, I am starting to get ansy and I am ready to get moving!!
Matt is staying busy at work as he is starting to work on the transfer of all the equipment and responsibility. He will be changing command the same day we hope to pull away from Fort Drum, so he will remain busy and a little stressed at times as his Company Command Position comes to a end.
I am around. Between the kids and all the other activities time is passing by quickly. This apartment is driving me crazy, I am really ready for a little more room and my stuff to be put away. I have started to run again and I am putting P90X back into my days. It is clear to me, I am much more positive when I have my good workouts.
Emma is turning into this beautiful little lady. Each day she is a little taller and her face lights up with new features. She has a best friend that she has had over for a slumber party a couple of times and she really enjoys this but is still a little unclear about the sharing part. Emma knows we are moving away but I don't think she realizes it is before school lets out.
Logan is a monster that thinks monsters are going to get him. He likes to pretend monsters are going to eat his food or get his toys. And he will run around the house with a sword in one hand while screaming monster and making noises. He is our light and we enjoy his laughter. Logan has just about every characteristic that his Daddy has down to his allergies. Recently Logan has begun to show signs of hay fever and other allergies we have a feeling. Poor little dude fights through the watery eyes with a smile.
I will try to be better but I have a feeling things are only going to get busier. We will be leaving NY and heading straight to GA next month. Looks like we should have a house on post waiting for us, I am soooo excited. Right after memorial day we will be leaving all the boxes and mess and head to Oregon and Idaho for almost 2 weeks to visit family before we fly back to GA to get Matt ready for work and I will start to apply for nursing programs. (That is the hope)

Fun at a Birthday Party
We have some Great friends that has a cute little boy named Andy. Andy specified that he wanted his "New Best Friend" Emma at his 5th Birthday Party. So, after church we headed over to a 5 year old Transformer birthday party and had a blast. They had planned cool crafts and outside fun. And then after the birthday festivities our friends had us stay for dinner. We are really going to miss our "Army Family".

Pottery Painting
Last week was spring break for Emma. We filled it with plenty of playing and some rest at home. On Friday Daddy was off work so we headed to the mall for some lunch and shopping and remember that we had a pottery painting place. I had wanted to do this with Emma so I was pretty excited that we finally had the chance. Emma really enjoyed herself while Logan played with nearby toys and took a stroll with Daddy through the Mall.

Birthday fruit
I had a very nice easy laid back 30th Birthday. Matt and I spent most of the day on the road but we got to the kids by 4 PM and had a little "Birthday Party" waiting for me. 4 amazing kids had beautifully decorated cards and my good friend Katie decorated her dining room and made special cupcakes for me. After we gathered the kids and their stuff we headed home and ordered pizza and accepted my beautiful Edible Arrangement from Terri and Kevin. We ended the night my favorite way. Cuddled up on the couch eating Pizza and watching a movie. (I fell asleep well before the kids and Matt:))

Easter 2010
What a Incredible Day to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and enjoy our family. We started our morning with a Easter Egg Hunt that lead to a few Easter baskets full of candy and toys!!! We got ourselves all dressed up and headed to church. After church we went over to some friends house for a incredible maple cooked ham and all the fixins!! We ended the night doing one of my favorite things, we cuddled up and watched Alvin and The Chipmunks The Squeal. (The new one). Logan and I both feel asleep right away and Emma says she was the only one awake the entire time. I love nights like that.

Easter celebration with the Horrigan's
Today we celebrated Easter with the Horrigan's. We made a huge feast to include a deep fried turkey and a decadent butter cream cake. The kids enjoyed a Egg hunt in the beautiful 85 degrees and then had a spray gun water fight. We topped the evening off with a bon fire and fun laughs just with the adults.
